How it works

As easy as a card payment.

Wrong network. Too little sent. No gas left. Crypto deposits fail in ways cards never do. Unter checks every route before the customer sees it, so paying in crypto works like paying by card: no manual steps, no guesswork.

Checked before it's offered.

Before a single option appears, Unter reads the customer's wallet. Six checks decide what can complete, and the wallet is screened before anyone signs. The customer never sees the work, only the result. So customers only pick ways to pay that can complete, and your team has fewer lost deposits to chase.

  1. Wallet

Which wallet, and can it sign?

Unter recognises the wallet and checks it can sign the transaction.

  2. Network

    Where the funds actually are.

Every supported chain the wallet holds funds on, so nobody pays on the wrong network.

  3. Balance

    Enough for the full amount.

Only tokens that cover the whole payment are offered, so deposits are not underpaid.

  4. Gas

Enough to pay the network fee.

A token is withheld when the wallet cannot pay the fee to move it.

  5. Liquidity

    Deep enough to swap.

For a same-chain swap, Unter checks liquidity and keeps slippage within limits.

  6. Route

    Lands in your stablecoin.

A route has to deliver the stablecoin you settle in, at an acceptable price.

  7. Screening

    Screened before signature.

The customer's wallet is screened before they sign, and every payment keeps its evidence.

  8. Result

    Only what passes is offered.

Everything else is withheld with a plain-language reason, and the customer is guided to an option that works.

Pay with what they hold.

Customers pay with the stablecoins they hold, or with any other token on a supported chain that has the liquidity to swap. You receive the stablecoin you settle in.

See what's supported

From request to settlement.

You decide what you receive. The customer pays with what they hold. Unter handles everything in between.

01 · Request

You set what you receive.

Your system creates a payment request: the amount, the stablecoin you settle in, the chain and your own reference. Only you see and control the settlement setup.

02 · Validate

Only routes that can complete.

Unter reads the customer's wallet: chains, tokens, balances, gas and liquidity. Routes that would fail are withheld before the customer sees them, with a plain-language reason.

03 · Pay

The customer signs. Unter watches it land.

Stablecoins go straight to your wallet. Any other token with enough liquidity swaps on the same chain first. Unter follows the transaction on-chain until it confirms.

04 · Settle

Settled into wallets you own.

Payments land in your wallets, one per chain. Keep them there or consolidate to the asset and chain you choose. You sign every sweep, and a webhook confirms every payment and settlement.

Yours, end to end.

The checkout runs under your name. The funds land in wallets you own, and Unter never holds them.

  • Your wallets

Payments settle into wallets you own, one per chain or consolidated to the asset and chain you choose.

  • You sign every sweep

Moving funds between your wallets takes your signature. Unter prepares the sweep, you approve it.

  • Payouts your way

Run payouts through your PSP or through your own integration with Unter, so you are never dependent on a single PSP.

More ways to get paid. Fewer ways to fail.

Wallets, QR codes, deposit addresses, swaps, settlement, webhooks, agentic support and MCP. One rail, under your brand, so a customer who wants to pay, can pay.

Wallet connect

Pay from the wallet they already use.

MetaMask, Phantom, Trust Wallet, TronLink and WalletConnect where available. On mobile the checkout opens the wallet app on the phone.

QR code and deposit address

Scan it, or copy it.

Customers can also scan a QR code or copy a deposit address. Sent too little? They top up to the same address.

Same-chain swap

Paid in their token. Settled in yours.

Any valid token on a supported chain works, as long as there is enough liquidity to swap it through DEXs or exchanges. You receive the stablecoin you settle in.

Settlement

Per chain, or all in one place.

Keep funds in a wallet per chain, or consolidate to the asset and chain you choose. Every sweep is signed by you.

Webhooks and payouts

Your systems always know.

A webhook confirms every payment and every settlement. Payouts run through you, from your own systems.

Agentic support and MCP

Every payment explains itself.

Agentic support helps your support team: it investigates a transaction, finds the cause, helps you answer the merchant and proposes the fix. Through MCP, your own AI tools look up payments, prepare refunds and settlement quotes, and run settlements or refunds once you have approved them.
